Why M42 exists

The shift is decided in the boardroom.

Most AI transformation work happens at the technology layer. That is where the contracts are easiest to sign, the deliverables easiest to define, and the impact easiest to claim. It is also the layer where, for most mid-to-large organisations, the real question is not being asked.

The real question is a board-level question. What does our operating model look like when half of knowledge work is handled by capable machines? What is the shape of the workforce we need in three years, not three months? What decisions can only the executive team make, and are we making them, or avoiding them?

How we work

Small by design.

We work with a small number of clients at a time. That is deliberate. The engagements we take require presence in the room, continuity across sessions, and the bandwidth to call the hard question. A roster of twenty clients would make that impossible.
